Spencer Ogden is seeking an experienced Senior Water Resources Engineer to join a growing civil and water resources team in San Luis Obispo, CA. The role combines technical delivery, project management, client development, and mentoring, overseeing a diverse portfolio from planning to construction.

You will lead projects, manage scopes, budgets, and schedules, and build relationships with municipalities and utilities. California PE preferred; strong municipal water/wastewater experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of civil/water resources engineering experience.
• California PE registration preferred.
• Strong municipal water/wastewater infrastructure experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of municipal water, wastewater, recycled water, and utility projects from planning through construction.
• Manage project scope, budgets, and schedules; own client relationships and multidisciplinary teams.
• Deliver water resources and civil engineering projects including master planning and design.
• Coordinate regulatory permitting and reporting; liaise with public agencies and utilities.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to business development and proposals.
