Job summary

Veolia Group is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join the Technical Direction and Process Validation (TDPV) team in the Water Technology Business. You will evaluate projects, prepare process design calculations, develop PFDs/P&IDs, and guide Sales/CE teams with process insights, including site audits and operational safety input for field services and design teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in water & wastewater process engineering or equipment supply field, preferably with 3–5 years hands-on experience.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in detailed process design and ability to read and understand proposal documents and specifications from technical and commercial perspectives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Sales and CE teams to support opportunities and screen new opportunities during regional/global WIN reviews.
• Provide technical and process support to meet Sales/CE needs and represent Veolia in customer meetings on process perspectives.
• Create/develop/assess process design estimates, block flow diagrams (BFDs), and process flow diagrams (PFDs) for new and retrofit projects.
• Prepare P-table documentation including feedwater design basis, mass balance, design calculations, simulations, and projections for review.
• Participate in P-table reviews prior to proposals to ensure the solution meets goals and specs.
• Peer-review P-tables of other SME projects as required.
• Submit P-table documentation to BS&P validation for qualifying deals and respond to BS&P technical reviews.
• Coach/mentor TDPV team members and provide remote/on-site process training.
• Support lifecycle cost analysis and compare flowsheets to select best technical/economic solution.
• Collaborate with Sales/CE to position the company in early project development.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Regional Sales Managers and Local Representatives.
• Support new MWIS fleet asset development from process/safety perspectives.
