Job summary

HDR seeks a Senior Project Manager in California to lead complex water infrastructure projects—from dams and levees to flood control systems—through full lifecycle. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, manage scope, schedule and budget, and deliver technically sound solutions that meet client needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
10 years related experience.
Minimum 5 years project management experience.
Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (PE or P.Eng).
MS Office and MS Project experience; Access a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead multidisciplinary teams through the full lifecycle of major water projects.
Manage large, complex projects balancing scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
Design, lead, or support civil engineering design across site layouts, grading and drainage, utilities.
Strengthen client partnerships with irrigation districts and agencies.
Provide technical leadership and QA/QC.
