Job summary

GHD's Central US Water team is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through construction. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver projects on time and on budget while fostering client relationships and business development.

This role requires a BS and/or MS in Environmental, Chemical or Civil Engineering, a Texas PE or ability to obtain within six months, and 10+ years of water/wastewater

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental, Chemical or Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer license in Texas or ability to acquire within six months.
• 10+ years of water/wastewater design experience in Central US, preferably Texas.
• Experience with desalination, water/wastewater treatment, conveyance and pump stations.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to present technical information clearly.
• Knowledge of regulatory agencies including TCEQ and EPA.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist in development of facility and utility master plans.
• Plan, design, and execute wastewater treatment and conveyance projects.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and QA/QC.
• Coordinate with clients, regulators, contractors, and internal teams.
• Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and engineering documents.
• Oversee permitting and ensure environmental and safety compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and project staff.
• Lead proposal development and client presentations.
• Grow relationships with existing and prospective clients; this includes business development.
