TYG is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Water/Wastewater to lead critical water infrastructure projects across Texas. The role focuses on guiding projects from planning through construction, managing budgets, schedules, and technical quality, while building strong client relationships.

The candidate will mentor engineers and project managers, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to business development with a focus on sustainable, community-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering is required.
• Active P.E. license in Texas or reciprocity ability.
• 10+ years of progressive water/wastewater engineering and project-management experience.

• Lead water and wastewater projects from planning and design through construction.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, resources, and technical quality.
• Oversee multidisciplinary teams delivering treatment facilities, pipelines, pump stations, and distribution and collection systems.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead water and wastewater projects from planning and design through construction.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, resources, and technical quality.
• Oversee multidisciplinary teams delivering treatment facilities, pipelines, pump stations, and distribution and collection systems.
• Serve as the primary client contact, building trusted relationships with public and private clients.
• Mentor engineers and project managers, supporting their technical and professional development.
• Guide compliance with applicable state and federal water regulations.
• Support business development through proposals, interviews, and identifying opportunities with new and existing clients.
• Deliver sustainable, practical solutions that meet client goals and community needs.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or a related engineering field.
• Active P.E. license required, with Texas registration or the ability to obtain it through reciprocity.
• 10+ years of progressive water/wastewater engineering experience, including project management and team leadership.
• Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, technical delivery, and client relationships.
• Strong technical knowledge of water/wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Experience with Texas municipal clients and regulatory requirements preferred.
