Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Construction Manager for the Water Business Group in Arizona. You will lead subcontractor coordination, schedules, budgets, and quality control on water infrastructure projects.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in construction management, strong people skills, and proficiency with Procore, Primavera and related tools; PE or CCM are preferred. This on-site role supports community water projects with safety and collaboration at its core.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or equivalent in engineering or related field.
10+ years in construction planning/management, including contracts, change, scheduling, cost and safety.
Experience with Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam, Timberline or similar tools.
Strong interaction with Owner, Engineer, Contractor and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Coordinate subcontractors, scheduling, and quality control.
Develop project management and construction control plans.
Create procedures for contract administration, document control, and change management.
Manage procurement, schedules, subcontracts, and value engineering reviews.
Coordinate document management, submittals, shop drawings, and pay apps.
Prepare and negotiate Change Orders; monitor budgets and progress.
Ensure safety compliance and on-site quality assurance.
Produce regular progress reports and manage local bidding efforts.
