Job summary

HDR is hiring a Senior Project Manager - Water Engineering to lead multi‑discipline teams from development to close‑out. You will establish client relations, manage schedules and budgets, and mentor staff on large or complex projects. A PE license and 10+ years in the field are expected, with MS Office and MS Project proficiency.

The role emphasizes ownership culture and collaboration across HDR’s Water Business Group, delivering safe, sustainable water solutions for communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 10 years related experience with at least 5 years PM experience.
• Professional engineering license (PE or similar) is required.
• MS Office and MS Project experience are expected.
• Demonstrated leadership and strategic planning skills.
• Active participant in an employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate multi-discipline project teams across lifecycle.
• Handle large or complex projects and supervise project staff.
• Maintain client relations and participate in marketing and design meetings.
• Coordinate staffing and deliverables to meet schedule and budget.
• Oversee QA/QC procedures and project reviews with leadership.
