Job summary

Stantec in Tucson, AZ seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead design and engineering of water and wastewater projects. You will serve as Engineer-of-Record and apply electrical engineering knowledge to size, specify systems, and prepare construction packages.

You will mentor junior engineers, participate in project scope, budget, scheduling, and liaise with clients and contractors across phases from design to construction, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and PE license.
• Experience leading electrical design for water/wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

• Acts as Engineer-of-Record for projects or components.
• Engages in development of designs through sketches, models, diagrams.
• Leads project coordination meetings with clients, contractors and vendors.
• Develops project scope, budget, staffing and schedule.
• Reviews project deliverables and ensures conformance with design.
