Job summary

BELFOR is seeking a Specialist in Water Damage - Advanced to lead drying operations for residential and commercial losses. The role requires supervising multiple crews, using meters and cameras to assess moisture, and coordinating power needs while adhering to safety policies.

Ideal candidates will hold IICRC ASD and be fluent in English, with strong customer-service skills and the ability to work under time constraints, including travel and night/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard.
• Working knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard.
• IICRC ASD designation and BELFOR Water Damage standards familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Direct the teams in using the right PPE and safe procedures.
• Review daily project requirements, document progress and notify managers.
• Provide field documentation, photos, charts and sketches for projects.
• Read plans, develop humidity records and determine drying objectives.
• Calculate humidity load and cubic meters; request extra support for large losses.
• Assess electrical consumption and temporary power needs for drying equipment.
• Perform regular vehicle safety inspections and keep equipment ready.
• Adhere to BELFOR standards; ensure property protection; meet deadlines.
• Maintain strong customer service focus and professional conduct.
• Be prepared to travel, work nights/weekends, and report time accurately.
