Job summary

Amgen in North Carolina is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician for Utilities (Waste Water Treatment) on a day shift. You will provide technical expertise, start-up support for plant utilities, and lead wastewater treatment operations, with responsibilities spanning monitoring, maintenance, and optimization to ensure permit compliance.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills, experience in wastewater systems, and the ability to work in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with water treatment/maintenance experience.
• Advantage for 5+ years in wastewater treatment operations and maintenance.
• Experience with CGMP or regulated environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain industrial wastewater treatment systems.
• Lead wastewater treatment operations, lab testing, and process control.
• Maintain compliance with discharge permits and environmental regs.
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on treatment equipment.
• Document logs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
