Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician – Utilities (Waste Water Treatment) for the day shift at the ANC site. You will operate, monitor, and maintain industrial wastewater systems, lead operations, and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will perform mechanical/electrical maintenance on pumps, DA systems, and instrumentation, while maintaining logs and safety/compliance documentation. On-call rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED with 6 years water treatment ops or maintenance experience or 2 years in technical school with hands-on water treatment ops/maintenance experience.
• 5+ years wastewater treatment operations and mechanical maintenance knowledge.
• Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic systems and ability to perform maintenance.
• Experience in a cGMP or other regulated environment and CMMS usage.
• Ability to interpret P&ID diagrams and work with minimal direction.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain industrial wastewater treatment systems to meet discharge permit requirements.
• Provide technical leadership for wastewater operations, labs, process control, preventive maintenance, and training.
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on pumps, DA equipment, instrumentation, and related utilities.
• Monitor SCADA/PLC/HMI systems and respond to process alarms and emergencies.
• Maintain logs, inspections, and compliance documentation.
