Amgen Inc. in Holly Springs, NC, is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician – Utilities (Waste Water Treatment) on day shift to start up and operate the plant utilities, monitor and maintain wastewater treatment systems, and lead optimization efforts.

You will work with SCADA/PLC/HMI controls, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment (DAF, pumps, chemical feed), ensure permit compliance, and support GMP-driven operations.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma / GED and 6 years of Water Treatment Operations or Maintenance experience.
• 5+ years knowledge of wastewater treatment operations and mechanical maintenance.
• 3+ years knowledge of pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems and ability to perform maintenance.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical expertise supporting start-up of plant utilities and daily operations on a rotating day shift (7 AM–7 PM).
• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment processes, ensure permit compliance, and lead operator training.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on wastewater treatment equipment (pumps, mixers, chemical feed systems, DAF, instrumentation).
• Maintain operation logs, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
• Respond to alarms and ensure minimal disruption to production while adhering to GMPs.
