Job summary

Amgen in Holly Springs, NC seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician – Utilities to perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and documentation of plant utility systems. You will manage steam, chilled water, air systems and related equipment while coordinating with operators and stakeholders.

The role requires strong knowledge of utility operations, mechanical maintenance and experience in regulated environments. On-call rotation and a focus on GMP compliance are involved.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years utility operations or maintenance experience.
• Associate’s Degree with 6 months utility operations or maintenance experience.
• Experience in regulated environments (cGMP) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation of utility equipment.
• Maintain steam, chilled water, compressed air, cooling tower water, and heating systems.
• Prepare logs and work orders; communicate progress to operators and stakeholders.
• Support with on-call rotations including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Partner with vendors and review maintenance plans for GMP compliance.
