Job summary

Mountaire Farms is seeking a experienced Wastewater Operations Manager to lead day-to-day personnel, ensure permit compliance, and oversee the full wastewater treatment cycle, including spray irrigation. The role requires a wastewater license and extensive supervisory experience in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 7+ years relevant experience with 5 years progressive environmental/wastewater experience.
• Experience supervising teams in industrial or utility environment.
• Wastewater license(s) to operate the Plant.
• Strong knowledge of wastewater and maintenance programs.
• Experience preparing regulatory reports for full treatment and land application permits.
• Deep understanding of wastewater regulations.
• Ability to analyze operational data for compliance and optimization.
• Experience managing facility upgrades or compliance initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with spray irrigation systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct management and supervision for operation of the Wastewater facility to meet goals.
• Oversee maintenance work, parts inventory, and project involvement.
• Supervise workforce including scheduling, performance reviews, and training.
• Control the overall Wastewater treatment system, including chemical ordering and monitoring.
• Ensure compliance programs and safety policies are followed.
