Job summary

Mountaire Farms in Siler City, NC is seeking Wastewater Operator candidates at the Level I to Master Operator levels. The role requires an active Level I wastewater license (or in certification process) and at least one year of operating experience.

Work mainly under supervision to ensure compliant, safe water treatment operations. Responsibilities include supervising water treatment operation, maintaining equipment, performing process-control lab work, and keeping accurate compliance records.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalency.
• 1+ year of acceptable operating experience.
• Active WW license Level I; may be scheduled or pending at management discretion.
• Must have valid Driver's License and must satisfy Company Motor Vehicle Record check requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervised Operation of the Water Treatment system.
• Adhere to all safety requirements, including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions. Lock out Tag out procedures and Process Safety Management related matters.
• Assists with Compliance Recordkeeping
• Perform process control lab work
• Maintenance of wastewater equipment
