Job summary

Sarasota County is looking for a Wastewater Senior Manager who will oversee wastewater treatment facilities and infrastructure systems. In this leadership role, you will drive operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and support community infrastructure, making a significant impact on Sarasota’s water utility services.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's Degree, with extensive experience in wastewater operations and management. A starting pay range of $120,016.00 - $125,008.00 annually is offered, along with benefits after 60 days.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Wastewater utilities or related experience.
• 4+ years of supervisory/management experience.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee wastewater treatment facilities and collections.
• Assist Director with department vision and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
