Job summary

PSM Workforce is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead day-to-day waste collection, recovery, and recycling across multiple sites. You will ensure safe service delivery, drive workforce performance, and manage costs while expanding data-driven programs using Davis TMS and Recyclytics ERP.

The role involves leading supervisors and frontline staff, coordinating vendors, and delivering measurable recovery outcomes, with a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• At least five years of experience in integrated waste management or facilities services with waste/recycling, field logistics, or service delivery.
• Experience supervising frontline staff, coordinating vendors, and managing customer commitments.
• Proficient with TMS/ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, dashboards, and using data to manage performance.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily waste collection, recovery, and recycling operations across sites.
• Plan routes, staffing, and equipment; address service exceptions and capacity limits.
• Oversee safety, compliance, and partner performance; supervise field teams.
• Drive use of TMS, ERP, and reporting systems; ensure data accuracy.
• Lead client-facing reviews and translate requirements into site procedures.
• Support cost control, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
