Job summary

Randstad USA's client, a premier, 100% employee-owned leader in resource recovery and environmental services, seeks a Senior Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations, drive operational excellence, and lead a team of Operations Managers in San Francisco.

The role requires a background in recycling/waste management or heavy transportation, strong financial and data literacy, and proven people leadership.

Qualifications

• 5 years of managerial experience in operations leadership.
• Experience in recycling/waste management, heavy construction, fleet/logistics, or industrial services.
• Proficiency with budgeting, financial reporting, and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead site operations aligned with strategic plans, ensuring safety, compliance, cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Directly supervise Operations Managers; oversee staffing, schedules, and team motivation.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations and CBAs where applicable; train and license staff to operate equipment.
