Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervisor to lead and develop Package Handlers, set high standards for safety, productivity, and attendance, and maintain quality in a fast-paced warehouse.

The role supervises the team, trains staff, ensures OSHA and company policies are followed, and drives continuous improvement through effective communication and teamwork. Candidates should have strong written and verbal skills and may need to lift 70 lbs and work flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 70 lbs / 32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent.
• Preferred: Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Package Handlers and trains, develops, and holds workgroups responsible for safety, production and attendance.
• Sets and maintains high standards for account productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety.
• Leads with innovative and effective leadership and cultivates positive relationships across the organization.
• Ensures employees adhere to safety policies and procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Manages department resources to ensure maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Drives continual improvement and pro-active coaching for staff development.
