Job summary

Dollar General Newnan distribution center is seeking a Supervisor to oversee receipt, stocking, order filling, and shipment flows, guiding staff operating warehouse systems and equipment.

You will review WMS reports, plan daily production, monitor staffing, and partner with HR/Training to develop employees. Requires 2+ years supervisory experience, WMS/Kronos familiarity, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Understanding of inventory accounting.
• Knowledge of inbound/outbound functions in a distribution center.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Conflict resolution and one-to-one communication skills.
• Good oral and written communication including interviewing.
• Computer skills: WMS, Word, Excel, and Kronos payroll/personnel systems.

Responsibilities

• Reviews WMS reports; notifies WMS personnel about shutdowns or other failures.
• Uses SOPs to resolve problems; communicates issues to Inbound/Outbound Manager.
• Reviews staffing reports to determine daily department staffing; coordinates with Inbound/Outbound Manager.
• Plans daily production goals and monitors productivity improvement opportunities.
• Conducts annual employee reviews and supports safety programs.
