Job summary

Dollar General distribution centers seek a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee receipt, stocking, order filling and shipment of merchandise. You may supervise staff operating rolling stock equipment or automated systems to maintain flow and accuracy.

You will review WMS reports, coordinate staffing with the Inbound/Outbound Manager, implement productivity plans, monitor quality and safety, and support HR in hiring and employee development.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising in a distribution center.
• Two or more years of supervisory experience.
• WMS experience preferred.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work with payroll/personnel systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receipt, stocking, order filling, or shipment of merchandise.
• Review WMS reports and communicate issues to managers.
• Determine daily department staffing levels with the Inbound/Outbound Manager.
• Implement Labor Transfer pay program and monitor productivity.
• Conduct weekly/monthly staffing reviews with the Inbound/Outbound Manager.
• Plan daily production goals and maintain employee records.
• Support safety programs and conduct annual performance reviews.
