Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Distribution Center Supervisor to oversee receiving, stocking, order filling, and shipments. You may supervise staff operating warehouse and automated equipment, ensuring efficient flow and adherence to SOPs.

You will review WMS reports, manage staffing levels with the Inbound/Outbound Manager, participate in labor costing programs, and drive safety and performance through regular reviews and coaching. Experience in a DC and WMS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Understanding of inventory accounting.
• Knowledge of inbound or outbound functions within the distribution center.
• Two or more years of supervisory experience.
• WMS experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interviewing skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviews WMS reports and notifies WMS personnel of issues.
• Uses SOPs to resolve problems and communicates with the Inbound/Outbound Manager.
• Reviews daily staffing levels and coordinates with the Inbound/Outbound Manager.
• Maintains Labor Transfer pay program continuity.
• Conducts weekly and monthly staffing reviews with management.
• Partners with Training to track new employee development.
• Plans daily production goals and monitors progress.
• Monitors quality metrics and reports to the Inbound/Outbound Manager.
• Maintains employee records daily and supports safety programs.
• Participates in annual reviews and merit evaluations, and participates in hiring with HR.
