• Manages 30-45 staff including temporary workers across admin, shipping, receiving, order picking, and truck appointment tasks.
• Enforces work and safety rules and disciplines employees as needed.
• Maintains productivity standards and addresses discipline when required.
• Collaborates with the customer QC Department to resolve issues.
• Ensures warehouse cleanliness and a safe work environment.
• Oversees overtime evaluations and assigns overtime as needed.
• Creates reports to monitor KPI attainment for management.
• Oversees scheduling and adjusts capacity to reduce overtime and temp help.
• Initiates procurement of clothing, warehouse, and office supplies.
• Reviews and maintains contracts for building operations such as snow removal and trash.
• Approves expenditures for warehouse operations within budget constraints.
• Prepares monthly dept. reviews comparing actuals to budget.
• Negotiates with contractors and suppliers for best rates and availability.
• Analyzes Labor Reporting System data for hourly coordinators and initiates corrective actions to improve operations.
• Performs ad-hoc analyses as requested.
