High Liner Foods USA is seeking an EHS Manager for the Portsmouth, NH site to lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive employee health, safety, and environmental programs in alignment with enterprise EHS strategy.

The role oversees on-site EHS duties, hazard assessments, training, audits, and ESG-related activities, with focus on regulatory compliance, incident management, and continuous improvement across the facility.

Qualifikationen

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in occupational health and safety management.
• Extensive knowledge of health and safety legislation, including federal, state, and city regulations (e.g., US DOL OSHA and EPA).
• Experience in disability management, accident investigation, workplace inspection, job hazard analysis, and familiarity with highly hazardous chemicals (e.g., anhydrous ammonia).
• Proficiency in planning, collaboration, conflict resolution, and maintaining confidentiality; service and team-oriented leadership with attention to detail.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Develop, implement, and update EHS policies, procedures, programs, and permits to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Review and optimize EHS programs based on updates and best practices.
• Represent management in EHS matters with government agencies and organizations.
• Provide compliance support with PSM and RMP-related programs and oversee workers' compensation processes.
• Develop and present safety training for employees, visitors, and contractors and manage LMS records.
• Conduct internal and external EHS audits, coordinate inspections and investigations, and submit EHS statistics.
• Coordinate safety committees and maintain EHS-related records.
