Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager III to oversee warehouse operations, develop strategies to optimize processes, and lead a team across multiple facilities. You will drive safety, productivity, and cost efficiency while upholding DHL's reputation as a global contract logistics leader.

Responsibilities include managing P&L, nurturing customer relationships, and presenting Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews (MBR/QBR).

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience
• 2+ years experience in supply chain, warehousing or distribution
• Experience in 3PL/Contract Logistics preferred
• Staff management experience
• P&L management preferred
• Project management preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
• WMS experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, and shipping of goods
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes, reduce costs, and increase productivity
• Lead and coach Operations Managers and staff, building a strong team culture
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain a clean, safe working environment
• Utilize WMS, automation, and technology to track inventory and performance
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective services
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance and key metrics
• Maintain strong customer relationships through daily liaison and service excellence
• Oversee the site's P&L and drive profitability
• Prepare and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews (MBR/QBR) to customers
