Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager III to lead our warehouse operations across the United States. You will drive strategies to optimize processes, manage a team of operations leaders, and ensure safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

In this role you will oversee P&L, vendor relations, and performance reporting while leveraging WMS and automation to improve metrics. A BA/BS degree and 5+ years of management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial experience in warehousing or distribution.
• 2+ years in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution env.
• Experience in 3PL and/or contract logistics is preferred.
• Staff management experience is required.
• WMS experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes, minimize costs, and maximize productivity.
• Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff, coaching and building a strong culture.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Utilize WMS and technology to track inventory and monitor performance metrics.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective services and supplies.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance and KPIs for decision-making.
• Lead customer relationships with daily contact to ensure satisfaction.
• Responsible for site's P&L and performance within the commercial agreement.
• Prepare and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews to customers.
