Job summary

Performance Team is recruiting for a warehouse supervisor on behalf of A.P. Moller - Maersk in the Cedar Hill, TX area. The role oversees 20+ warehouse staff, manages inbound/outbound schedules, and ensures accurate inventory control.

The schedule is Back Half Nights, 6PM-4:30AM, with a focus on efficiency, safety, and policy adherence. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and relevant supervisory experience. Company benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related experience may substitute.
• Experience supervising 20+ employees in warehouse/operations environment.
• Strong inventory control and payroll coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers handling ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials.
• Plan inbound/outbound schedules to meet customer metrics.
• Staffing needs assessment and scheduling based on workload.
• Assign workers to duties and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Monitor productivity and performance by individual, function, and department.
• Maintain inventory accuracy withInventory Control and manage payroll for the department.
• Advise on item handling, storage, and shipping procedures; resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and resolve workplace grievances.
