Job summary

A.P. Moller - Maersk's Performance Team in Redlands is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations, supervise 20+ staff, and ensure accurate inventory and on-time shipping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of inventory adjustments and audits.
• Assist with inventory control and maintain accuracy.
• Maintain computerized inventory records.
• Perform cycle counts and investigate variances.
• Plan inbound and outbound schedules to meet customer metrics.
• Determine staffing needs and schedule staff accordingly.
• Assign workers to duties based on workload and shipping schedules.
• Review and update operational procedures and communicate them to the warehouse staff.
• Track productivity and evaluate performance by individual and department.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Manage payroll for the department.
• Resolve discrepancies between inventory and stock records and implement remedial actions.
