Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers handling ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and perform cycle counts and audits.
• Plan inbound and outbound schedules to meet customer metrics.
• Determine staffing needs and schedule staff accordingly.
• Assign tasks based on workload and shipping schedules.
• Ensure adherence to operational procedures and communicate them to staff.
• Monitor productivity and performance metrics by individual and department.
• Manage payroll for the department and advise on handling of items.
