Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking a proven Operations Manager to lead a warehousing operation in Laredo, TX. You will guide Supervisors and Associates to meet customer requirements while driving safety, cost control and service excellence.

Build and execute annual plans, drive process improvements, and coordinate with internal teams to optimize inventory and performance. Ideal candidates bring 4-6 years of related experience, 3+ years in a managerial role, and a strong track record of achieving KPIs

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint required.
• Must have ability to connect and build rapport and relationships with associates and external customers at all levels.
• Must have ability to work efficiently with time management and organizational skills with follow-up and follow through.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute annual financial operating plan.
• Ability to drive process improvement and lead change.

• Recruit, train, develop, communicate with, and retain quality associates.
• Develop forward-looking plans and turn them into successful execution.
• Manage resources to achieve operational excellence and meet financial plans.
• Maintain an incident-free safety culture at the operation.
• Meet or exceed customer KPIs and collaborate with customer to identify needs.
• Develop and execute annual financial and operating plans; manage P&L.
