Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Coppell, TX to lead warehouse activities and ensure efficient logistics operations. The role requires coordinating receiving, inventory, and shipping, while maintaining high accuracy and adherence to safety standards.

You will supervise 20+ employees, plan shifts, and manage payroll. The position is full-time and on-site, with responsibilities spanning daily workflow and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Supervisory role overseeing warehouse staff and processes.
• Experience with inventory control and cycle counts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers handling ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials.
• Maintain inventory records and accuracy; collaborate with Inventory Control to ensure high accuracy.
• Plan inbound/outbound schedules to meet customer metrics.
• Determine staffing needs and schedule staff accordingly.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and enforce adherence.
• Manage payroll for department and track productivity.
• Communicate procedures to warehouse staff and resolve issues.
