Job summary

A.P. Moller - Maersk in Coppell, TX is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead warehouse and inventory activities. The role handles staffing, scheduling, and ensuring safety and accuracy across inbound and outbound processes.

You will supervise 20+ staff, manage payroll, and coordinate with Inventory Control to maintain cycle counts and audits. The position is full-time, on-site, with a 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM shift, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree not required; GED or high school diploma required.
• Experience supervising warehouse staff is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and payroll basics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of inventory adjustments and cycle counts.
• Plan inbound/outbound schedules to meet customer metrics.
• Determine staffing needs and schedule staff.
• Review procedures and ensure communication to warehouse staff.
• Track productivity and assess performance by team and function.
• Manage payroll for the department.
