The job emphasizes cycle counts, nonconforming materials, and cross-functional collaboration. The position requires strong analytical and interpersonal skills, proficiency with Made2Manage (M2M), ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• This position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Role requires proficiency with stockroom operations and inventory control.
• Experience with ERP and inventory management systems is required/relevant.
• Able to audit inventory, cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and basic to intermediate Excel/Word.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize daily activities within the Stockroom and Materials department to support production schedules and customer requirements.
• Provide support at the Westford offsite warehouse as needed, including order picking and general materials coverage.
• Investigate order picking issues, inventory discrepancies, cycle count variances, and nonconforming material; perform cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
• Locate, audit, transfer, and stage kits or materials to support production and shipping requirements.
• Receive incoming materials, complete inventory transactions, and update records and shortage reports using Made2Manage (M2M) or other inventory systems.
• Monitor and maintain shortage reports to help ensure material availability for production.
• Coordinate processing and disposition of nonconforming material per procedures.
• Assist in minimizing excess inventory by relocating, consolidating, or disposing as directed.
• Organize and maintain stockroom locations to maximize storage capacity and inventory accuracy.
• Assist with expediting material deliveries from suppliers when requested by management.
• Train and certify Material Coordinators on processes and safe work practices.
