Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager in Portland, OR to lead the warehouse workflow and driver fleet. You will recruit, train, and mentor staff, drive safety and compliance, and partner with senior leadership to ensure profitability and efficient ops.

The role focuses on budgeting, inventory control, and continuous process improvement within a dynamic foodservice distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 6–10 years of Foodservice operations or related area with supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business/Operations or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates including scheduling, training, counseling and performance management.
• Manage inventory dollar levels to optimize cash flow and service levels.
• Develop annual budgets for the Warehouse Department and monitor monthly performance.
• Oversee warehouse inventory organization and quarterly reviews.
• Interact with customers and vendors in a friendly, timely, professional manner.
• Establish procedures to maximize department productivity and efficiency.
• Address operational problems and make effective decisions with limited standardization.
