Job summary

Westlake Chemical in Garland, TX is seeking an experienced warehouse operations leader to manage all aspects of DC operations, including order pulling, replenishment, staging, shipping/receiving, and staff performance in a fast-paced, cost-conscious environment.

Responsibilities include developing and improving warehouse processes, controlling labor costs, conducting inventories, and ensuring safety, quality, and environmental standards across the operation.

Qualifications

• 5+ Years experience in managing warehousing or manufacturing for a high volume multi product manufacturer.
• Certification in or exposure to Lean/Lean Six-Sigma manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve warehouse operations: replenishment, order pulling, staging, and shipping/receiving.
• Exercise leadership to organize warehouse efforts toward objectives and control labor costs.
• Conduct cycle counts and annual physical inventories and maintain finished goods accuracy.
• Ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are fulfilled; enforce policies.
