Job summary

Woodgrain is seeking a Distribution Warehouse Lead in Dallas, TX to oversee daily warehousing operations, supervise staff, and drive safety and productivity. You will manage receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment.

The ideal candidate will have strong supervisory skills, attention to detail, basic math and problem-solving abilities, and a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• Experience following directions carefully.
• Familiarity with door components and assembly techniques.
• Basic analytical, reasoning, and math abilities.
• Basic verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Trains employees; plans and assigns work; solves basic day-to-day problems.
• Reads production schedules and orders to determine items to move or distribute.
• Moves materials from receiving or production to storage or other areas.
• Assembles customer orders and places them on pallets or shelves.
• Marks materials and records quantities received or distributed.
• Loads trailers and distributes weight for delivery routes.
