Job summary

Brooksource is recruiting a Senior Warehouse Project Engineer for a major pharmaceutical manufacturing client in Indianapolis, IN. This 12-month contract role is fully on-site, paying $75-$80 per hour (W-2).

The engineer leads automation projects—AGV expansion, RFID integration, ASRS enhancements—within a highly automated warehouse setting, ensuring uninterrupted operations and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 5+ years in industrial manufacturing, warehouse automation, or automation engineering.
• Experience leading engineering projects from concept through execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation-focused capital projects from design through implementation.
• Coordinate with vendors, including Dematic, on system upgrades and integration.
• Support wood pallets elimination and pallet exchange initiatives in warehouse operations.
• Troubleshoot automation issues and support CQV, testing, and startup activities.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure operational readiness and deployment.
