Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Automation Maintenance Technician in Indianapolis, IN. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on warehouse automation systems, including conveyors, AS/RS, and AGVs, ensuring uptime and safety standards.

The role requires PLC/HMI troubleshooting, high-voltage equipment experience, and WES/WMS integration knowledge. Eligible candidates will have relevant technical certs or 4+ years of experience and excellent problem-solving

Qualifications

Vocational or Technical certification in related field or 4 years of relevant experience required.
Two years or more Maintenance repair and preventative maintenance on warehouse automation equipment required.
One year or more Experience with PLCs for troubleshooting equipment issues required.
Two years or more Performing maintenance on high voltage equipment and AC/DC motors or components required.
Experience with WES to communicate between WES and WMS required.
Experience with HMI screens to diagnose faults and validate inputs/outputs required.
Knowledge of 480 volts and pneumatic equipment intermediate required.
Working knowledge of computer-based maintenance and parts inventory systems intermediate required.
Independent problem-solving capability required.
Experience with PLC/HMI programming software to add form/function to programs preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on warehouse automation systems.
Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, AS/RS, AGVs, and electrical/control systems.
Analyze root causes of downtime and implement corrective actions.
Use CMMS to organize work and communicate with plant and corporate teams.
Maintain spare parts inventories consistent with procedures.
Participate in safety and Lean programs; support Ryder culture.
Keep maintenance area clean and tour-ready.
Contribute to policies and SOP improvements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
