Job summary

W3Global is seeking an experienced Senior Attorney specializing in wage-and-hour litigation to handle complex employment matters, including class actions and collective actions. This role demands independent management of sophisticated cases and development of effective litigation strategies for corporate clients.

The successful candidate will lead case strategy, discovery, motions, depositions, settlements, and client counseling while mentoring junior attorneys and coordinating with colleagues

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years in wage-and-hour litigation.
• Strong knowledge of FLSA, PAGA, and wage‑and‑hour laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead defense of FLSA collective actions, PAGA claims, and other wage-and-hour litigation.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies from initial case assessment through resolution.
• Draft and argue motions including dismissals, summary judgments, and class/conditional certifications.
• Manage complex discovery, including ESI, written discovery, and depositions.
• Take and defend depositions of plaintiffs, reps, experts, and other key parties.
• Advise clients on compensation practices, timekeeping, payroll procedures, and related issues.
• Oversee expert witnesses and evaluate damages and payroll records.
• Represent clients in mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial prep.
• Counsel on wage-and-hour compliance and risk mitigation.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and oversee staffing.
• Collaborate across offices to deliver client-focused services.
