Job summary

JPMorganChase in Wilmington, DE seeks a VP Control Manager within CCB to lead an enhanced control framework and drive top-down risk analysis. You will partner across CCB and second-line functions to strengthen real-time control issue detection and remediation.

You will build an inclusive, high-performing team and leverage data analytics and automation to improve risk reporting and control effectiveness while ensuring regulatory alignment and strong governance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in financial services, including controls, audit, compliance, and/or operational risk management.
• Design, enhance, and operate control frameworks with escalation and issue management.
• Strong understanding of risk management concepts and regulatory banking environment.
• Analytical skills to synthesize information, identify root causes, and communicate risk insights.
• Data literacy and comfort using analytics and automation to improve reporting and control effectiveness.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication across senior partners.
• Leadership experience with coaching and building inclusive teams.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead design and execution of control strategies to identify and mitigate risks.
• Drive an integrated approach to risk assessment with top-down analysis and monitoring.
• Strengthen issue management, including real-time detection, escalation, and remediation tracking.
• Leverage data analytics, automation, and technology to identify trends and insights.
• Partner with internal stakeholders across CCB, Legal, Compliance, Audit, and Risk to align priorities.
• Lead and develop a high-performing, inclusive team focused on innovation and excellence.
