Job summary

Renovo Financial, LLC in Chicago, IL seeks an SVP of Lending to lead a growing real estate lending book. You will act as a specialized financial advisor, manage client relationships, and work with loan processors to move deals through underwriting and closing.

You will build a large, repeatable book of business, mentor junior officers, recruit top talent, and craft creative solutions for clients while maintaining exceptional service standards in a fast-paced private lending environment.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience as a Loan Officer with a track record in real estate lending.
• Excellent customer service mindset and client-facing skills.
• Ability to grow and manage a high-volume book of business.
• Proven lending expertise in private or community bank environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a large book of business (60-75 clients, 20+ loans per month).
• Take full loan applications from clients and document their story.
• Collaborate with processors to ensure efficient underwriting and closing.
• Lead and mentor Loan Officers; participate in recruiting new talent.
• Coach AVP/VP officers for 2–4 hours per week.
