Job summary

Saturna Capital seeks an accomplished Senior Vice President of Operations to provide enterprise-wide leadership for mutual fund and investment-management operations. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, this executive will bridge strategy and disciplined execution, modernize the operating platform, and scale capabilities to support growth.

The role requires 12+ years in investment-management operations, FINRA licenses, and a proven ability to align teams, systems, and service providers

Qualifications

• Twelve+ years in investment-management operations or related fields.
• Experience with fund-administration platforms and reporting tools preferred.
• Professional credentials such as CPA, CFA, or CIPM are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish operational strategy, annual priorities, budgets, staffing plans, and improvement initiatives.
• Provide leadership to operations managers across fund administration, investor services, transfer agency, and related functions.
• Translate priorities into practical plans with clear ownership, timelines, and resources.
• Evaluate and improve processes, controls, documentation, systems, reporting, workflows, and vendor relationships.
• Develop scalable practices that improve accuracy, efficiency, risk management, service quality, and employee experience.
• Lead modernization initiatives including process redesign, automation, and systems implementation.
• Assess readiness for growth opportunities including new products, services, channels, and partnerships.
• Maintain a strong control environment supporting regulatory compliance and data integrity.
• Establish meaningful management reporting with KPIs, SLAs, capacities, and KRIs.
• Serve as senior escalation point for material operational and service issues.
