Job summary

Saturna Capital Corporation in Bellingham, WA seeks an accomplished Senior Vice President of Operations to lead the firm’s mutual fund and investment-management operations. The role partners with the COO to drive enterprise-wide strategy, modernization, and scalable operating practices.

The successful candidate will have 12+ years in investment-management operations, strong governance, and the ability to align teams, systems, and vendors for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Advanced degree, relevant securities licenses, or industry certifications preferred.
• Required to obtain and maintain FINRA licenses (SIE, Series 7, 63, 24).
• 12+ years of experience in investment-management operations or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the COO to set operational strategy, budgets, staffing plans and priorities.
• Lead managers across fund administration, investor services, transfer agency, trading support, and distribution.
• Translate priorities into actionable plans with ownership, timelines and resources.
• Improve processes, controls, and vendor relationships for efficiency and risk management.
• Develop scalable operating practices and drive modernization initiatives.
• Oversee readiness for growth opportunities and new products.
