BTG Pactual is seeking a Vice President / Junior Director for its Loan Syndication & Sales team in New York. The role focuses on distributing USD-denominated loans from Latin America and Europe to the US syndicated market, with emphasis on private direct lenders and institutional investors.

The successful candidate will combine sales capabilities, an established investor network, and the ability to position complex credit opportunities across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in loan syndication or related private credit distribution.
• Proven track record distributing to institutional investors and private direct lenders.
• Ability to articulate complex cross-border credit structures.
• Established US network of private credit funds and loan market participants.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; cross-border collaboration experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead marketing and distribution of USD-denominated loan transactions from LATAM/Europe into the US syndicated loan market.
• Drive investor dialogue and messaging for Latin American credits.
• Develop tailored syndication strategies: investor targeting, book-building, pricing.
• Interface between Latin American origination/structuring and US investors to communicate credit stories.
• Expand distribution footprint among US private direct lenders and institutional funds.
• Collaborate with internal teams in São Paulo and New York to ensure execution.
• Support structuring and positioning of cross-border transactions.
• Contribute to BTG Pactual’s Latin America syndication platform in the US.
