Job summary

BBVA is seeking an experienced Vice President to join its US Private Placement team in New York. You will originate, structure and execute USPP transactions for corporate and project finance clients across industries and jurisdictions.

The role requires strong credit skills, execution discipline and the ability to coordinate with bankers, legal counsel, and investors while maintaining high standards of accuracy. Base salary ranges are substantial with discretionary bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience at a major banking institution or equivalent.
• Execution experience in corporate finance and project finance transactions, with USPP exposure.
• Recent transactions involving data centers, CRE and project finance USPP activity.
• Strong credit analysis including risk, leverage, liquidity and covenants.
• Advanced financial modeling: integrated statements, cash flow, debt sizing and scenarios.
• Established relationships across institutional investors and understanding of investor expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of US Private Placement transactions from opportunity to closing.
• Coordinate with relationship bankers, sector teams, legal counsel and ops.
• Prepare detailed credit analysis, financial models and debt capacity assessments.
• Develop financing structures reflecting borrower objectives and investor requirements.
• Create client/investor materials, pitch books and internal approval docs.
• Manage multiple workstreams and ensure timely delivery with governance standards.
• Maintain dialogue with institutional investors and provide market perspectives.
• Support senior team in business development and client coverage.
• Mentor juniors through modeling reviews and knowledge sharing.
