Job summary

Mastercard’s Global Business Solutions Center (GBSC) is seeking a Senior Vice President, People & Capability. You will lead HR shared services operations, drive transformation and governance across multiple functions, interfaces with C-suite stakeholders, and align with enterprise goals to deliver value and exceptional service.

Reporting to the EVP of GBSC and P&C, you will shape strategy, roadmaps, and budgets, manage cross‑border teams, optimize processes, mitigate risk, and ensure strong KPIs

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing HR shared services and operations with metrics, analytics and ROI.
• Proven ability to scale HR operations globally and align with business objectives.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to assess risk in operations.
• Excellent stakeholder communication with the C-suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead GBSC P&C operations and strategy supporting benefits, compensation, leaves, mobility, payroll, new hire services, inquiry support and other key HR functions
• Define, deliver and own the GBSC P&C roadmap delivering targeted business benefits, measurable operational efficiency, and a service excellence model
• Implement governance framework to monitor, measure and improve across GBSC using resources, processes and automation
• Maintain high employee satisfaction; attract and mentor a team of top leaders
• Perform financial planning, forecasting, and budget tracking to reduce total cost of ownership
• Partner with stakeholders on complex needs and collaborate on end‑to‑end processes
• Oversee security posture and risk mitigation plans and control functions
• Partner with C‑Suite owners and regional leaders; drive enterprise P&C initiatives
• Optimize resource delivery across onshore, offshore and third‑party locations
• Ensure KPIs and SLAs are met; drive root cause mitigation and corrective actions
• Oversee M&A due diligence and integration activities
• Manage vendor relationships and approve vendor selection
• Support expansion of services anchored in technology, scale, and customer experience
