Job summary

Neal Electric Corp. is seeking a Vice President of Field Operations in San Diego, CA. This executive will lead field operations, drive project execution, workforce management, safety, profitability, and strategic direction across projects and divisions.

The role reports to the President and collaborates with the executive team, General Superintendents, and field personnel to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery while growing capabilities and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible experience in the commercial electrical construction industry.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience managing field operations, construction personnel, and large-scale commercial electrical projects.
• Proven success leading Superintendents, and Field operational teams.
• Extensive experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, job cost analysis, and profit optimization.
• Thorough knowledge of commercial electrical construction practices, labor management, scheduling, and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the executive leadership team and participate in company-wide strategic planning and decision-making.
• Develop, implement, and continually improve field operational policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Establish field operational goals and key performance indicators aligned with company objectives.
• Lead organizational growth initiatives, process improvements, and operational excellence programs.
• Promote a culture focused on safety, accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
