This executive will transition from hands-on field leadership to managing project managers, foremen, and field teams.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and accountability, including estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and compliance with NEC/OSHA.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey Electrical Contractor license required.
• 10+ years in electrical contracting and service work.
• 5+ years in operations management or senior project leadership.
• Experience managing multiple crews and concurrent projects.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time, on budget, with high safety/quality standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field and project operations from estimating to closeout.
• Mentor technicians, foremen, and project managers to build a high-performance team.
• Plan manpower, resources, sequencing, and cross-trade coordination.
• Develop SOPs for project execution and change management.
• Monitor labor costs, materials, margins, and cash flow.
• Ensure NEC, OSHA, and local regulations compliance.
• Build strong client and partner relationships.
• Recruit and retain electricians, apprentices, and project staff.
• Advocate the use of operational tech to improve visibility and decisions.
• Serve as senior operational leader in the President/Owner’s absence.
