Job summary

US Foods, Inc. seeks an experienced operations leader to direct DC site management and drive profitable performance across distribution centers. You will develop strategic plans, coordinate functions, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires extensive distribution experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage union negotiations and overall operations efficiency.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree preferred (or High School Diploma and equivalent experience)
• 10 years operations experience in distribution management
• Minimum 5 years of management experience
• Knowledge of D.O.T., OSHA, HACCP and related regulations; labor relations; selecting/interviewing/recruiting; budgeting and cost control; PC skills

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee operations across Distribution Centers (DCs) ensuring safe, efficient and profitable performance.
• Negotiate terms of collective bargaining agreements for union facilities.
• Develop and execute long-term strategic plans for the operations department.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, transportation, purchasing and sales activities to achieve company goals.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and company safety programs.
• Delegate responsibilities to managers and enforce policies; oversee workforce performance and training opportunities.
