Citigroup Inc. is seeking a senior leader to oversee a large, geographically dispersed team responsible for end-to-end complex assets and derivatives transactions from clients.

You will own the strategic vision for the Complex Assets business, translating market opportunities into board-ready business cases and transformation roadmaps. You will manage high-value asset issues by coordinating with internal teams and external clients, oversee risk and compliance, and build senior client

Qualifications

• 10+ years in complex assets and derivatives with senior management experience.
• Experience collaborating with internal and external teams in financial institutions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a high-risk operational environment.
• Strong project management and negotiation capabilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a large, geographically dispersed team managing end-to-end for complex assets and derivatives.
• Own the strategic vision for the Complex Assets business and translate opportunities into business cases and roadmaps.
• Coordinate with multiple internal teams and external clients to resolve problems and streamline processes.
• Oversee risk control and compliance across the settlement function.
• Build and maintain senior client relationships from onboarding to growth.
• Partner with Product and Technology to fund and deliver a multi-year transformation, including automation and data-driven improvements.
• Present data to identify productivity gains and cost savings across the business.
• Develop junior and mid-level staff into future leaders within settlement.
